I got this recipe from the restaurant at the Black Gold Casino in Hobbs, NM when I worked at the casino between 2005-2008. It was delicious and I have enjoyed making it ever since for the summer. I looked it up on the internet and found the exact same recipe by Amanda Duggan, and it is from The Cranmom Cookbook, one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. I use different kinds of grapes and add walnuts or pecans to the top of it instead of mixing the nuts into it.
Ingredients:
- Red and/or Green seedless grapes, about 2 pounds, washed and dried
- 2 - 8 oz packages cream cheese
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- Chopped pecans, or walnuts, or even slivered almonds
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions:
- Mix together cream cheese and milk until smooth and soft.
- Pour mixture over grapes in a large bowl and mix
- Add nuts on top
- Refrigerate
