You were taken so quickly. Just on your way to work and bam! you are home with Jesus! I didn't even get to say goodbye. I was in bed before you left, and I hadn't wanted to go see the latest Star Wars movie with you the last time you were off work and wanted to go see it. I didn't feel like going out, so I said I didn't want to go. I wish so much I had gone with you!!!!! I miss you still!!! Life is short!!!!

FIR '10 Reading Question #3

Here goes another question. :D  I haven't been able to answer them lately, so here goes. :D

Okay, now for this week’s question:

Do you eat/drink while reading? If so, do you have some favorite reading snacks?

I don't usually snack when I am reading.  I usually read at home before bed or in the car when I am a passanger.  Don't like other than maybe a glass of water at those times. :D

so, no I don't eat and rarely drink while reading.  :D  Anything makes good snacks though. lol

And now, for question #2…

What do you think about e-books? Do you engage in e-reading or do you prefer to stick to good ol’ physical books?

I really do not know what to think of e-books.  I don't have a kindle or anything like that, but I have downloaded books or reading material from the internet. Usually they are in pdf or word files. (I have told everyone that asked me, that I wanted a Kindle for Christmas this year. lol). :D  I do have a problem with the computer screen hurting my eyes, so I don't know if it would be good to continue with reading on the internet. 

I also LOVE to read paperback and good Hardback Books.  Can anyone beat seeing them (hardback books) in the shelf, smelling their book smells, and feeling the paper of the pages as you turn them?

FIR '10: Reading Question #1

 "What is your biggest reading obstacle? OR, if you feel like you already read as much as you want to, what choices have you made to make that happen?"

Really, several different things cause me reading obstacles. The top two obstacles, if I had to list them, would be getting older and other distractions. :D Please, let me clarify.

Fall into Reading 2010

Hey :D

I just decided to start a blog to keep track of the blogs I enjoy reading.  :D  And here is my first entry. :D  yay me.  I saw this Fall into reading 2010 by callapidderdays  and wanted to join in the fun.  I usually get my books from paperbookswap.com, but sometimes I get them from the Library, Bookmobile, or buying them at Amazon.com or from our local Hastings. :D  All of my links--except where noted--lead to paperbookswap, that is because it is my favorite place to start my search for books.
