LADYBUG'S DOODLES:
I have a variety of interests and hobbies and you will probably find them all included in my Blog. I am Christian, so I post what I believe and make NO Apologies for it. I will continue to strive to keep this blog rated G. Some things you will find here are reviews of movies and books, songs and their lyrics, recipes, crafts and ideas for crafts, quotes, lists, articles and facts, my experiences and any other thing I can come up with.
I get the Just CrossStitch magazine and saw this in the April 2022 edition. I loved reading about the Pascha Basket and Wanted to keep it for my Commonplace Book.
A very ancient custom which “fell by the wayside” among the Greeks as a result of the 400 years of Turkish rule,
was the custom of “blessing the family baskets” of Paschal food at
Easter. It is still widespread among the Slavic nations who inherited
the Orthodox Christian faith and culture from the Byzantine Greeks. ~ stjohndfw
Burma passed away and again no one told me. I am sad and will miss Burma so much! She was a loving and dedicated Christian and wanted to make everyone happy. Her husband's name is Wylie and he is the classic Wile E Coyote and would pull pranks on people. I remember so much of this family and my interactions with them. My condolences and prayers to Wylie and his family.

who both preceded her in death.
Burma is survived by her spouse, Wiley Owens whom she married on September 11, 1980.

Hobbs, New Mexico. She is also survived by her stepsons, Glen Owens and

Burma will always be remembered as the sweet loving lady known as
wife, nana, great nana and friend. She touched the lives of all who knew
her. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and her friends.
During Burma's lifetime here on this earth she was involved faithfully
in God's ministry by helping others and making sure everyone received
her smile. She created smiles on those all around her."
My mother and brother do not listen to "Suspense" that I know of, but I find the information interesting. I clipped this from the Good Old Days Sept/Oct. 2021 issue.
My mother and brother both love Old Time Radio shows. Me, not so much. When I was reading the July/August 2021 edition of Good Old Days I came upon this and thought I would save something that my mom and brother like. They love Boston Blackie.
The years pass by faster and faster; but, you are still in our hearts and minds!
"We thought of you in love today, but that is nothing new."
I also thought of the picture of you standing by a cactus. I used this picture to work on my skills of altering pictures. I gave you a twin! lol I laughed about it, but you were alive when I did it. I miss you so much that it hurts every time I think of you. I LOVE YOU, JOHN MICHAEL SCHLAGETER!
This article by Matthew Fray says it all. Men and Women think differently and react to their emotions differently. This article points this out. Men and Women both need to read this and think of why they are really fighting in their marriage and try to come to an agreement if they both want to make it work.
My cousin, Bobby has passed away. He was 40 years old and he looked like my brother in ways. I can see the family resemblance. Bobby was my Aunt's first born son and I know he will be, so very much, missed.

You were taken so quickly. Just on your way to work and bam! you are home with Jesus! I didn't even get to say goodbye. I was in bed before you left, and I hadn't wanted to go see the latest Star Wars movie with you the last time you were off work and wanted to go see it. I didn't feel like going out, so I said I didn't want to go. I wish so much I had gone with you!!!!! I miss you still!!! Life is short!!!!
Two years have come and gone. I look forward to when we can meet again in the light of the Risen Lamb, the Great I AM!
Words & music by Walt Harrah
The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away.
It's not a dream, God will make all things new that day.
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell.
Evil is banished to eternal hell.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See all around, now the nations bow down to sing.
The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King.
Slowly the names from the book are read.
I know the King, so there's no need to dread.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See over there, there's a mansion, oh, that's prepared just for me,
Where I will live with my savior eternally.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
All praises to the great "I AM."
We're gonna live in the light of the risen Lamb.
This song helps when I think of you! Happy Birthday in Heaven!
Lyrics
I can only imagine What it will be like When I walk by your side I can only imagine What my eyes would see When your face is before me I can only imagine I can only imagine, yeah
Surrounded by your glory What will my heart feel Will I dance for you Jesus Or in awe of You be still Will I stand in your presence To my knees will I fall Will I sing hallelujah Will I be able to speak at all I can only imagine I can only imagine
I can only imagine When that day comes And I find myself Standing in the sun I can only imagine When all I will do Is forever, forever worship you I can only imagine I can only imagine
Surrounded by your glory What will my heart feel Will I dance for you Jesus Or in awe of You be still Will I stand in your presence Or to my knees will I fall Will I sing hallelujah Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine, yeah I can only imagine
Surrounded by your glory What will my heart feel Will I dance for you Jesus Or in awe of You be still Will I stand in your presence Or to my knees will I fall Will I sing hallelujah Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine yeah I can only imagine yeah yeah I can only imagine yeah yeah I can only imagine I can only imagine yeah yeah I can only imagine
I can only imagine When all I will do Is forever, forever worship you I can only imagine
Just a few short months ago, you went home to your heavenly Father.
Daddy misses you and I saw him crying that you had left. Love and miss
you, John!
Faith Like That
By: Gordon Mote
I could see his hands were shaking As he took the microphone He said my little boys not gone He's just gone home
Then he opened up his bible And read from John 14 He said, I'm here to celebrate his life Not grieve
It hurts how bad I miss him But what better place to be? He's with his other Father Who loves him more than me
I want to have faith like that Let it be who I am I want to see the bigger picture And trust it's in God's hands I want have faith I want to faith like that
Well I walked up to him after Not real sure what to do
I hugged him
But wondered who was hugging who?
Before I could say I'm sorry He said, It's gonna be alright And as we stood there I could almost hear him smile
I thought I could give him comfort Yeah I thought I believed I went there for him But, he was there for me
I want to have faith like that Let it be who I am I want to see the bigger picture And trust it's in God's hands I want have faith I want to faith like that
I want to walk the walk Not just talk the talk I want to make it who I am
My Little, Big brother (born after me, but was taller than me) has gone home to be with the LORD!. I would always say that he was the classic of "Tall, dark and handsome!" John was slow in movements (such as his nickname of turtle) and he could keep his feelings and words closer than a rock. If he didn't want to talk, you couldn't get him to talk. He was sensitive and was loved! He is and will continue to be missed by his family and by his animal dog friends: Brownie and Tizzy. He was and will continue to be one of my BEST FRIENDS!
