Here we are with a Dewey's Read-A-Thon update. :D I am having fun trying to get through my Dickens pick. :D It is going slow, but I am steadily working on it.

I have finish two books actually, since I am counting the Louis L'Amour CDs. I am working on others.

I am really looking forward to finishing Little Dorrit and Casting the Runes by M.R. James
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
I have been unable to free up the whole day. I was able to listen to audio books as I was doing other things though. :D I think that will count?

Any interruptions, I just dealt with them and tried to finish as quickly as possible.
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
Nothing so far
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
I really am unable to usually come up with suggestions when asked. It is usually when unasked that I give suggestions. :D
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
I would try to free up more time, I guess
9. Are you getting tired yet?
Nope. I'm wide awake still. Ask me in about 5 hours though. :D
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Nope, nothing yet

I will continue to strive to keep this blog rated G. Some things you will find here are reviews of movies and books, songs and their lyrics, recipes, crafts and ideas for crafts, quotes, lists, articles and facts, my experiences and any other thing I can come up with.

You are doing great! I hope those eyes stay open as the hours pass.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that you can read Dickens during Readathon- that's quite a feat (especially for someone like me who picks graphic novels and kids books :)
ReplyDeletePile those books up ceiling high
pick one, read one, all night long
No matter what you choose to read,
In Readathon rules there is no wrong!
